Riot frustrated some fans after removing the Spring Split Championship Points, but this makes Spring more impactful and meaningful than ever before. Teams now have more security in finding long term solutions to their problems, and the LCS should be more improved by Worlds than previous years.
Dignitas has added yet another talent, announcing former FlyQuest head coach, Invert, as their assistant coach to Thinkcard. This finishes up their off-season moves. Read more about the move here:
Dignitas fills in their final Academy spot, signing former IMT, TL, and GG support, Olleh. This completes the DIG Academy squad with 5 former LCS veterans, giving them a stacked roster and a lot of places for substitutions and swap-outs for the LCS.
After visa issues with their previous Academy top lane signing, Rodov, Dignitas has signed former LCS top laner, Lourlo. Dignitas is now only lacking a support player for their Academy roster, boasting four veterans on the Academy so far.

Well into the off-season, RNG has finally announced what is to come for their 2020 season. On December 15th, they announced the re-signing of Xiaohu, Uzi, and Ming, and two new signings in Betty and xiaolongbao.

It doesn't need to be said, everyone knows that NA has a serious crush on imports. The franchising and Scouting Grounds were supposed to help, but they haven't done enough. NA needs some changes to help keep its domestic talent relevant.
It's been exactly two weeks since "Huni" re-signed with DIG, and he still has no teammates. Every other player left the team. Huni's salary is impacting the team's overall ability to afford players.
Late Saturday night, TSM announced that they will be traveling to Shanghai to bootcamp this December. TSM isn't going to Korea this year, they're visiting the home of the LPL and back to back World Championship Titles. Learn more here:
