Astralis have announced another addition to their LEC lineup: jungler Andrei "Xerxe" Dragomir is donning the red-starred jersey. As reported by Alejandro "Anonimotum" Gomis last week, Xerxe is replacing Nikolay "Zanzarah" Akatov.
His ultimate goal is to return to the LEC and compete at Worlds.
UPDATE 3/17: Following its 9th place finish in the 2021 League of Legends European Championship Spring Split, Astralis has decided to continue playing with MagiFelix and has extended his contract throughout the rest of 2021. This also marks the departure of nukeduck, who first joined the organization to play for Origen in the 2019 LEC Spring Split.
Perkz and G2 Esports accomplished many things together, and finding a suitable replacement for the former franchise face is an unenviable task. Inven Global was able to speak to Jactroll following the team’s victory against Misfits Gaming, a game that earned him MVP honors for his devastating Thresh play.
According to a recent report by ESPN's Jacob Wolf, Origen have signed Jactroll as their new support, replacing Destiny who has played for the team since the start of 2020. Read more on the trade here:
Origen’s bumpy 1-2 Summer Split start was not what they had envisioned in Week 1, with defeats against the revamped SK Gaming and the Kobbe-empowered Misfits Gaming serving as early stumbling blocks in a new meta. The bot laners of each region took their spots as the leaders of KDA in their respective regions. In the LCK, LPL, LCS, and the LEC, there’s an interesting trend in data (gathered up to the 17th), which is similar across all four regions. Bot laners of each region were in 1st place in KDA, and currently, there are two players that have a perfect KDA. In the LCK, All iN, the mid laner for Afreeca Freecs is a player that currently holds a perfect KDA. Previously known as SSUN, he only played two games in the league, so this data may not hold too much meaning. Even still, All iN played Pantheon in both of his games and with a total score of 5/0/13, he holds a perfect KDA.
