Team Liquid has had multiple visa problems this year, but the team has kept positive and worked out a solution for the time being. Here's what Pobelter and Broxah have to say about Liquid's current predicament:
Lolesports has finalized the LCS schedule, posting all 90 games of the regular season. The end-of-season run is crucial, see who has the best late season schedule for securing a strong playoff seed.
Dignitas fills in their final Academy spot, signing former IMT, TL, and GG support, Olleh. This completes the DIG Academy squad with 5 former LCS veterans, giving them a stacked roster and a lot of places for substitutions and swap-outs for the LCS.
After visa issues with their previous Academy top lane signing, Rodov, Dignitas has signed former LCS top laner, Lourlo. Dignitas is now only lacking a support player for their Academy roster, boasting four veterans on the Academy so far.
It's a problem that has plagued NA for years, players and coaches sometimes struggle to get their visas approved in timely fashion. Team Liquid now has three of their members facing this problem, Broxah, Cain, and Shernfire.

Whatever the reasons are for Team Liquid and NA's overall failure to make it out of groups, it is unacceptable. No matter what the problem was. But this isn't just a Liquid problem, this is an NA problem, and it needs to change.

The Worlds 2019 Group Stage has finally come to a close, and with it, NA's time at Worlds. The bracket has been set, and the teams will go on to prepare for their respective Bo5s in hopes of claiming the title. There is one final Group Stage MVP to be awarded, and today it goes to ShowMaker!
The last match of Groups spelled either the death of NA or the death of the previous World Champions. And the reaper just happened to show up on North American soil, as IG dominated in the final match, and sends TL back home.
