The "NA Deft and Mata" duo were reunited this Spring after spending a couple years apart. Deftly started his LCS career a couple years ago with Matt as his first LCS support. Now that they're reunited, they're taking over the LCS Academy scene. Hear from the duo themselves here:
Evil Geniuses Academy are the first team to secure a spot in the 2020 LCS Academy Spring Split Playoff Finals. They faced the early season favorites, Dignitas Academy, in the Semifinals and knocked them out with a clean 3-1 series victory. Read more on the team here:
Solo found himself in the unfortunate position of going teamless in the 2019 off-season after a rough ending to his time on Echo Fox. But halfway through the 2020 Spring Split, FlyQuest picked him up as an assistant coach, a new role for the top laner. However, he soon transitioned into a substitute for V1per, and is now helping the team on the Rift as they fight their way through playoffs. Watch our video interview here:
Dignitas tweeted out that they are giving their World Finalist top laner, Huni permission to search for other options leading into the 2020 Summer Split. Huni may stay in NA, but there's strong argument that he may look abroad to other regions as well.

Doublelift reached his 1500th kill in the LCS after playing professional League of Legends for the last eight years. He was the first player in the LCS to reach the 1,000 kill mark and the first to reach 1500. He has almost 2800 kills overall. Read more on the LCS kill leader here:

The Overwatch League announced they'd be playing the rest of their matches online, with a new schedule that both "eliminates the need for travel while maintaining a level playing field for the teams." Read more on the story here:

Golden Guardians have decided to promote huhi to their main roster for the League of Legends Championship Series this weekend in hopes to "improve the team's communication," likely in an effort to push to playoffs. Huhi replaces Keith, who has had a somewhat rocky season after role-swapping to support this past off-season. Read more on the story here:
