On the afternoon of July 21st, Team Liquid announced a new addition to their team, signing Pocket Rhino as their Academy Support, replacing Yama. Pocket Rhino is a former collegiate player for Florida State University. Read more about the signing here:
Tuesday afternoon, July 21st, 100 Thieves announced they were mutually parting ways with Jungler William "Meteos" Hartman. Meteos was benched from the main roster and moved to Academy after Week 3 of

Wednesday morning, July 15, TSM announced that they were promoting Treatz to their League Championship Series squad, moving Biofrost to Academy. TSM is coming off their first 0-2 weekend of the Split and looks to bounce back with a fresh face. Read more here:
This week in both the League Championship Series and LCS Academy, we saw TSM face off against Immortals. TSM got the Academy win, but Immortals secured the LCS victory. While this type of thing happens all the time - since not every Academy team reflects the strength of their LCS squad - the TSM vs Immortals situation brings a bit of nuance to an otherwise mundane conversation. Friday June 3rd, Goldenglue and Golden Guardians mutually parted ways, nullifying the remainder of their contract. Goldenglue started the entire LCS Spring Split for the org, making Playoffs with the team.
Coming into the second week of the LCS, MasH replaced WildTurtle as FlyQuest's starting AD Carry for their matches against TSM and Dignitas. MasH details his storied career and his approach to this year, and what he hopes to accomplish moving forward in his career.

SK Telecom CS T1 will collaborate with Logitech G to open a League of Legends Academy competition, “2020 Logitech G Rookie Invitational” on the 14th (KST). This competition will be broadcasted
Huni left Dignitas early this off-season, joining his old Clutch Gaming staff, Andrew Barton and Artemis, as well as reuniting with former SKT teammate, Bang. Regardless of playing Academy, Huni is happy to be in a better environment for himself and his mental health. Read more here:
TSM signed Winston as their new Academy Jungler after promoting Spica to their starting roster. Winston was part of Team Infernal in the 2019 NASG and played in the collegiate scene before then. Learn more about his addition to the team here:
After signing huni earlier this week, Evil Geniuses has released Brandini from their roster for this Summer. Brandini and the rest of the EG Academy squad climbed to 2nd place in the Spring Split Playoffs, losing to C9 in the Finals. Read more on his release here:
