The Magic the Gathering community is in an uproar after Wizards of the Coast announced they will be ending the Magic Pro League and Magic Rivals League without announcing any specific plans for the future of Pro Magic.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I’d have to argue that, yes — if done right, a Warhammer 40K-themed MTG set could be awesome.
Wizards of the Coast will soon be releasing crossover projects with two of the most legendary fantasy IP's in the world.
It's good to be the best. The premiere athlete in your school, the highest-scoring test taker in your class, or the team that raises the championship trophy at the end of the season.
Wizards of the Coast is releasing a handful of Magic: The Gathering cards featuring artwork by Bob Ross. The "Happy Little Gathering" consists of ten cards — two lands for each of the five mana types — featuring artwork from the late painter and is named in reference to one of his iconic quotes: "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." The quote also appears as the flavor text of an Evolving Wilds card featuring Ross' artwork, which comes with the set as a bonus.
