University of Laval Rogue et Au collegiate team jumped into the air and hugged one another as they were crowned 2018 Heroes of the Dorm champions.
From a team of brothers looking for glory, a team of underdogs who took down the crowd favorite to reach the semi-finals, a group of players who have played in every Dorm thus far and Canadians who are looking to show that the US isn’t the only country in NA with talent, there’s a lot on the line for all remaining participants.
Now the fact that we’re admitting we’re a MOBA now is great. I think saying we’re a casual MOBA isn’t the right word. I don’t think it’s ever really been true per se if you’ve actually dove into playing at a competitive level. Shaking that stigma within the community has been a challenge.
