After a long Patch 12.5, Teamfight Tactics returned with some updates for a patch that had a little bit of everything. Every AD unit in TFT got a buff or nerf, and some of the more problematic Hextech
The ruckus of the first patch of a brand new Set (or mid-set, in this case) has settled and Tacticians everywhere are beginning to get a stronger feel for the new(ish) comps and carries.
The purpose of this article is to break down all these changes and explain how they impact the comps to play and items to get when Set 6.5 goes live.
Tthis guide will focus on five comps based on the main types of items that differing comps (generally) want.
While the top of the tier list is still almost entirely unchanged, we can still dive into some of those more niche comps that will often depend on very specific items and/or hitting the 3-star carries in order to succeed.

These tier lists have already broken down the positioning and itemization of all of the top-tier comps throughout Set 5.5, so today the focus will be on some slow and hyper roll comps that have begun to creep to the top of the meta, as well as some unorthodox niche comps.
Even though it might seem like an easy call to just continue spamming Jax (he’s still good even after the nerfs), some new, interesting comps that we haven’t seen in the meta for Set 5.5 have cropped up.
Comps that have risen up to take their place include both familiar faces as well as a few new comps that have not been discussed in TFT Set 5.5.
