From August 9th to 11th, the first PUBG Nations Cup was held in Seoul, Korea. Teams from 16 countries around the world competed for the championship over a total $500,000 prize pool, and team Russia ended up as the first champions of the tournament.
Team South Korea started ahead on the first day, gaining 39 kills and a total of 50 points with Vietnam and Russia following close with 42 and 34 points, respectively. By the end of Day 2 of the tournament, South Korea maintained 1st place with 90 points, and Thailand rose to 2nd place by scoring 74 points. Russia stayed close with 69 points.
On the last day, team Russia rose to the top by gaining 58 points in a single day, tallying their total at 127 points, just 4 points ahead of team South Korea, and became the first champions of the PUBG Nations Cup. Team Canada finished at 3rd place with 106 points.
