The Overwatch League off-season is in full-swing, and just about any player not participating in the Overwatch World Cup is getting some much needed rest and relaxation before the start of the 2020 season. However, Shangai Dragons Main Tank Noh "Gamsu" Yeong-jin took to the halls of the Anaheim Convention Center to enjoy BlizzCon 2019 amongst the community.
Gamsu joined Inven Global's Lara Lunardi for a quick interview about his Blizzcon2019 experience and his first thoughts on Overwatch 2.
This is Lara Lunardi with Inven Global and today we have Shanghai Dragons' Gamsu. Have you been enjoying BlizzCon 2019 so far?
Yes! I've enjoyed it, but I've been doing so much. I've been doing a lot of fan meetings, and I watched some of the Overwatch World Cup. It was so fun.
Did you enjoy meeting your fans?
Absolutely! *laughs*
That's always good to hear. Overwatch 2 was announced at BlizzCon 2019, what are your thoughts?
I haven't played Overwatch 2 yet, but it looks so fun...I'll be streaming soon."
What do you know so far about Overwatch 2, and do you think it will affect the competitive scene?
I think people will join the Overwatch community in larger numbers to play the different game modes and experience fun in different ways. The increased playerbase will overall boost the community at large, which will also benefit the competitive scene at the top level.
How is Uni? I hear he's in dog boarding school.
Yes, he's been in school for three days. I miss him every day! I try not to cry, but I watch Uni videos every night and look at pictures. I can't wait to see him.
Thank you so much for your time, Gamsu. Is there anything you want to say to your fans?
Shout out to everyone who supports me. Thank you.
