BlizzCon takes place in Anaheim this weekend, and according to a report based in a demo guide document obtained by ESPN and Rod "Slasher" Breslau, Blizzard will reveal a sequel to their shooter, Overwatch at the convention.
According to their report, Overwatch 2 focuses on story and narrative driven elements, featuring a four-player story experience, set in Rio de Janeiro, as opposed to the original 6v6 gameplay in the original title. Right now, it has not been revealed if the game will focus on traditional PvP modes or entirely on the story mode and co-op experiences.
A new mode is to be introduced, being the first since the title's first release in 2015. "Push", as it is titled, will be set on a new map based in Toronto, Canada. Both PvE story mode and new game mode are likely to be available for BlizzCon attendees to play this week.
Hero talents and in-game items will be added to Overwatch 2's PvE, and Blizzard is expected to release at least one new hero this weekend. We will definitely check the demos out and report back to you!
