Mike "hastr0" Rufail, team owner and CEO of both the esports organization Envy and its sister Overwatch League team, the Dallas Fuel, recently released renderings of the Fuel's brand new training facility for the 2019 Overwatch League season.
For the duration of the League's inaugural season, most teams trained in cramped, window-less rooms in the Burbank Studios that often lacked space for 12 players, much less coaches and other staff. Consequently, for the upcoming season, many teams are building custom training facilities elsewhere. The Fuel are no exception.
Their new facility is being designed and built in partnership with TTG Gaming, said hastr0, and features a kitchen; a lounge area; space for 12 player PCs; staff workspaces; and, more. The training center is covered in Overwatch and Fuel paraphernalia, including a Fuel flame logo on the floor and Overwatch hero prints on the wall.
"This specific space will serve the team while they remain in LA. Our plans for our home venue and training facility in Dallas are still taking shape," wrote hastr0 on Twitter.
