Seoul Dynasty announced earlier today via Twitter that the team had acquired Baek "Fissure" Chan-Hyung from the Los Angeles Gladiators.
The announcement comes after a turbulent season for the Gladiators, which culminated in Fissure being benched for the duration of Overwatch League Season 1 playoffs despite his history of stellar in-game performances.
Charlie Lipsie, Director of Esports for the Gladiators, stated that the team had "acquiesced to [Fissure's] wishes to be part of a fully Korean roster, which he can find with the Dynasty."
Dynasty will be Fissure's third Overwatch League team, having previously played for the London Spitfire and the Gladiators. Dynasty finished eighth overall in the inaugural season of the League.
