Noah Whinston, CEO of the newly announced Los Angeles OWL franchises, took to YouTube to introduce himself and the team's big plans for next year. Explaining that Immortals has been "rooted in Los Angeles since day one", Whinston assured LA natives that their first and most important goal is to "make the citizens of Los Angeles proud to have us representing them."
The green and gold Mercy skin has just a few touches of black and represents Valiant's official color scheme moving forward. The Immortal teal still remains for the organization's other esports teams, but Valiant is positioned to become a brand of its own. At this time, an official roster list has not been reported.
While Immortals is most known for their LoL squad, their Overwatch division is no joke. Immortals have taken first place in multiple major Overwatch tournaments, including season 0 contenders, Overwatch Carbon Series, and the prestigious Overwatch Winter Premiere. Their sixth place finish during the most recent season of Contenders was uncharacteristic of a team that seems to always place 1st or 2nd, but this hasn't shaken the confidence of the organization in the slightest.

For example, just hours after the announcement of their roster, the team's official Twitter account already went on the offensive, stirring up the inevitable rivalry between the San Francisco Shock. After Shock tweeted "meh" in response to their team reveal, Valiant called into question nearly half of Shock's twitter followers, claiming them to be fake.
Preseason exhibition matches start December 6th while the regular season begins January 10th. Until then, expect a lot more trash talk and posturing between the revealed teams as each is trying to cement their place as fan favorites going into the league.
