ROX ORCAS canceled exclusive contracts with all affiliated members.

On September 18th, ROX ORCAS announced on their official social media page, that the team has decided to cancel the exclusive contracts with all members, including coaches and players, under the mutual agreement by APEX Season 4. The post explains that the team has discussed the upcoming team management and future of each player before the season started, and decided to give an opportunity to the players who dedicated themselves to gaining entry to the first-division APEX, and make an official announcement after concluding all matches.

ROX ORCAS managed the team for about 8 months since its founding in January. ROX ORCAS advanced to the first-division from APEX Challengers, and made an unprecedented movement by scouting Seyeon “Geguri” Kim, the player who’s known as a Zarya master. However, the team lost consecutively against Afreeca Freecs, GC Busan, and LW Red in APEX, and concluded the season without a single win.

On the other hand, ROX ORCAS dismissed the possibility of disbanding the team through a statement that upcoming plans, including rebuilding, will be announced in the near future.

The team has discussed with players about the upcoming team management and future of each player before APEX Season 4, and decided to release the official news after concluding all matches, as we have considered that it is not right to abandon opportunities for our players who dedicated themselves for a whole year to enter the first-division from APEX Challengers.
