The Demon's Hand is a limited-time game mode in League of Legends, and unlocking Sigils is essential for players looking to progress through the mode. Considering LoL: The Demon's Hand gets more challenging in each tier, you'llneed all the bonuses you can find.
While completing the Story mode was initially enough for me, I found myself wondering about the higher difficulty tiers of The Demon's Hand. This meant that I had to get more Sigils in League since the hard more required eight of them while the demon mode was gated behind 16 Sigils.
How to get Sigils in LoL: The Demon's Hand

To get Sigils in League, you need to continue playing regular game modes, like Arena, ARAM, Normal, Ranked matches, Swiftplay, and Co-Op vs. AI. A Riot Games staff member even chimed in on Reddit, saying playing Arena is the best way to unlock Sigils in LoL's The Demon's Hand.
However, some LoL players revealed that their experiences have been the opposite while unlocking Sigils for Demon's Hand. Multiple users claimed that they got more Sigils through normal draft matches, which also aligns with our experience. We've unlocked most of our Sigils through Draft Pick matches, where each League of Legends game is around 25 minutes long.

The Sigil unlocking process could be tied to the total time spent playing League matches, so that might be the reason why longer matches are likely to drop Sigils, while players may need to play two instances of shorter duration game modes.
Overall, the Sigil drop rates in League of Legends may seem inconsistent initially, but if you continue playing the main game modes, you should accumulate a decent number of Sigils over time. If you're like me and don't want to pay much attention to your gameplay because you want to unlock sigils, I'd recommend the Co-Op vs. AI game mode. These matches versus bots tend to be more forgiving, meaning you can get away with not completely focusing on the game.
Now that the servers are more stable compared to when the patch was released, players should be able to unlock a few Sigils in a single gaming session. I encountered the League of Legends reconnect loop during my first match after the Demon's Hand was introduced, so I had to wait out a queue penalty before I could start farming Sigils.
