Fans of the atmospheric indie role-playing game (RPG) OFF can rejoice as the beloved 2008 title makes a highly anticipated return. Developed by Belgian studio Mortis Ghost and published by Fangamer, the enhanced version of OFF is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam in 2025, introducing the cult favorite to a new generation of gamers.

Known for its haunting ambiance, surreal storytelling, and memorable characters, OFF has garnered millions of downloads and maintains a dedicated fanbase worldwide. The game’s influence extends to notable titles, with Toby Fox citing OFF as an inspiration for his designs in the UNDERTALE Art Book.

The re-release, titled the definitive version, includes an all-new battle system, balance improvements, and additional content such as new areas and hidden bosses crafted by Mortis Ghost. Originally launched in French, this version also features an official English translation, broadening its accessibility.

Collectors will be pleased to know that a physical edition of OFF for the Nintendo Switch is available. This edition is designed for enthusiasts who wish to add the iconic title to their game collections. The package includes a sturdy gift-box style case, a physical copy of the game, a Batter bobblehead doll, zodiac cards, a comic book by Mortis Ghost, an instruction manual, and a “Memories of the Park” art card.

In addition to the game’s digital and physical releases, Fangamer is expanding its merchandise offerings. The OFFicial Merch store will offer a variety of apparel and collectibles, including The Batter’s jersey, baseball hat, shirts, pins, and a plush version of The Judge.
