The second matchup of the 9th day of Overwatch APEX Season 2 saw LW Blue’s 3-0 victory over AF Red. LW Blue’s gameplay was simply flawless. Among the members, Jong-ryeol “Saebyeolbe” Park was the most impressive.

Below is the post-match interview with Saebyeolbe.

How do you feel about winning today?

We got the title “the winner” after we won the first place in IEM Overwatch. I was afraid we might lose that title, but fortunately we didn’t. I am happy with the result.

Did you expect a 3-0 victory?

I really wanted to win 3-0 and put my best efforts into today’s match.

How did you mentally prepare for the match?

I’m better at playing games when I’m not under a lot of pressure, so I tried to relax a little bit before the match. Actually all of my teammates did.

Who contributed to the team’s victory the most, in your opinion?

Mek0 did. He was amazing today, as always.

It seems like Fl0w3r had perfectly adjusted to a new surrounding.

Fl0w3r was good at everything even before he joined our team. We are much stronger with him on our side.

You have a few remaining matches and will be playing against either Lunatic-Hai or Misfits.

I think our fans would want to see us in action. I’m confident of our victory.

Your game performance is improving, isn't it? 

It’s not just me. Everyone is getting better every day. I want to find out my strength that others don’t have and use that strength as a strategy.

Any last words?

I want to say, I love Coach Ji and want to be in his team as long as I can.
