To be frank, Lee Sin is not a strong champion in this current meta.
However, he still has the ability to create variables; the only champ that can be compared to him might be. If we’re only considering carnivorous jungle champs, I’ll say Lee Sin is the one and only.
Lee Sin’s AD stats isn’t that high. But, he is a champ that can snowball early, give your teammates some advantage and eventually lead your team to winning fights. This is why Lee Sin is still an efficient champ in certain circumstances, despite his current state.
A good reason for using Lee Sin comes from his unexpectable ganking routes. His combo makes him such a high mobility champion.
Lee Sin does not have a certain counter champion, so you don’t really need to consider the opponent’s picks nor your teammates picks. Remember that he is not the ‘best’ champion; for sure there are better picks. However, he is still a decent jungle pick.
If your team has late game carry champions, try using other champions that have better tank abilities.
Lee Sin is not a strong 1 vs 1 champ. But, he has the dominance in 2 vs 2s and in chase down situations.
In early games, avoid going 1 vs 1 against the enemy jungle. Seek 2 vs 2s or try chasing down a fleeing enemy and secure the kill.
If you’re building AD items such as , you’ll have plenty of AD to assassinate enemy damage dealers; fight as an assassin in teamfights.
On the other hand, if the enemy assassin is OP and your team’s damage dealers are in threat; use to support your team.
Since you can’t use the Sightstone and the Green Smite, the usage of became so much important. Always have at least 1 . Also, buy abundant . Think of as a bonus life for Lee Sin.
Additional Tips from ‘Rush’
This tip is about jungle camp clear. Most users clear the big monsters first and clear the little ones using their AoE skill.
Although this can speedup your jungle clear, it is not efficient regarding health sustain. Big monsters do have higher base health, but their DPS aren’t that different compared to the little ones. So, if your champion is low on base health or if you’re in a situation where health sustain is important, clear out the little ones first.
Another tip is to always keep in mind about the abilities and effects of your jungle item.
Regarding Health steal from jungle camps: you should always know whether it’s from spell vamps or from basic attack vamps. This has quite a big impact on you jungling.
