Doublelift reached his 1500th kill in the LCS after playing professional League of Legends for the last eight years. He was the first player in the LCS to reach the 1,000 kill mark and the first to reach 1500. He has almost 2800 kills overall. Read more on the LCS kill leader here:

With the end of Week 8 for LCS Academy, the Dignitas and Evil Geniuses Academy rosters have qualified for the playoffs, each with a 10-6 record. They join Cloud9, who has locked in first seed, with three slots left to be claimed. Read more here:
The LCS commissioner, Chris Greeley, announced early Tuesday morning that the LCS and Academy League would resume their season in an online format this weekend. The LEC then made their own announcement, confirming the same. Read more on the new schedule and format here:

Though the team's perfect split was cut short in a defeat this weekend at the hands of TSM, a Monday night win over Golden Guardians brought Cloud9 to a record of 13-1 and subsequently, a lock for the first seed in the 2020 LCS Spring Playoffs.

Golden Guardians have decided to promote huhi to their main roster for the League of Legends Championship Series this weekend in hopes to "improve the team's communication," likely in an effort to push to playoffs. After an incredible start followed by a harsh recoil, Dignitas has swapped their League of Legends Championship Series starting jungler, Grig, for Academy jungler, Akaadian. Solo has joined FlyQuest as an assistant coach and reserve for their Academy team. Solo was most recently on Echo Fox, which left Solo without a team this off-season. He joins former coaches from his original LCS team, Clutch Gaming. Read more here:
