“I think that junglers are all about working together with your team. I want to show that I’m a better version of myself.”
As SKT T1 prepared to board their flight to participate in the 2019 LoL World Championship, Kim ‘Clid’ Tae-min also shared his thoughts about the tournament. He promised to continue to show his prowess in his teamwork.
Clid states that although this is his first appearance at Worlds, he’s “Not worried because I have teammates with a lot of experience on the Worlds’ stage.” However, he didn’t shy away to express his excitement and commented, “Once I’m up on stage, I reckon nerves will catch up to me.” In terms of his plans to overcome the fatigue from the long flight, he smiled and simply said, “I’ll sleep when I’m tired, and eat when I’m hungry.”
In SKT’s group, RNG and Fnatic’s Karsa and Broxah respectively are the two key players to keep an eye out for. When asked about the two junglers, Clid commented, “I think I’ll know what kind of players they are once I’ve played against them.”
Jungle Ekko is a pick that seemed to be a highly contested pick, but surprisingly fell off during the group stages. However, Clid personally thinks that it’s a great pick, and stated, “If there were more champions that are able to get into the back lines with Ekko, it could’ve been used more proactively and ultimately provided great results.”
His goal was definitely becoming world champion. On his personal goals, he emphasized on the jungler’s basic responsibilities. “I think that junglers are all about working together with your team. I want to show that I’m a better version of myself.”
