Kevin Chou explained why KSV acquired Samsung Galaxy.

KSV, known as the owner of Seoul Dynasty of the Overwatch League, has taken a step into LoL eSports by acquiring Samsung Galaxy. Kevin Chou (CEO) talked about why they chose Samsung Galaxy and how they will run the team in the future. The most important point was that the teamwork they showed was what KSV wanted.

For a while, KSV had been negotiating with favorites in the LCK. When asked about why they chose Samsung Galaxy, Kevin Chou answered, “Samsung Galaxy’s outstanding performance was good enough, but the teamwork they showed to win Worlds 2017 was the closest to what KSV had in mind.”

Kevin Chou talked about the future of the team. “The LoL team of KSV will become more recognized in China, U.S, and Europe. We will invest on marketing and media production infrastructure to make the team perform their best.”

The name of the team is also an issue. Kevin Chou said that it’s still being discussed, but will be announced by January, next year.
