KT's Head Coach got a cold stare when he tried to recommend Amumu to Score
On July 25th (KST), KT Rolster defeated Samsung Galaxy in their first match with Patch 7.14. Although KT's experimental jungler pick with Nunu in Game 1 didn't work out, they swiftly defeated SSG in the following two games with Gragas and Maokai as jungler.
After the match, KT's Head Coach Jihoon Lee was interviewed on air by OGN for comments about the match and the changing jungler metagame in Patch 7.14.
Coach Lee specifically mentioned Maokai and Cho'Gath as champions that can be picked flexibly both as a jungler or a toplaner depending on the circumstances, and use them as a curveball in the drafting phase.
He also told OGN how he recommended Amumu, a pick that MVP used successfully against Samsung Galaxy, to Score - but couldn't follow through in the end. "I thought Amumu was decent because it has a strong teamfight synergy in the mid to late game. However, Score glared at me when I recommended Amumu."
