NEXUS Takes on Blockchain Gaming Innovation with CROSS Protocol

The following was sent as a press release to Inven Global.

NEXUS (formerly Action Square) is making bold moves to shake up the blockchain gaming space with a major leadership overhaul. At a recent extraordinary general meeting, the company appointed Henry Chang as an internal director, reinforcing its leadership team and setting the stage for a new era of innovation.

With this shift, NEXUS is doubling down on CROSS, its open blockchain gaming platform, to accelerate the growth of a truly open gaming ecosystem powered by CROSS Protocol. Opengame Foundation, a non-profit organization established in Switzerland, will oversee the growth and development of CROSS Protocol, an open blockchain designed to seamlessly connect games and players, empowering developers to create in-game token economies with ease

Henry Chang has emphasized that CROSS Protocol’s "open platform" model sets it apart from traditional blockchain gaming ecosystems. He explained: "Each game will have its own independent blockchain economy with its own token, enabling players to participate freely. Instead of isolating games, we’re creating a network where multiple games are interconnected."

Chang has been actively sharing updates on X (formerly Twitter) to engage with the gaming and blockchain communities. He’s also introduced the platform’s core principles—‘Zero Minting,’ ‘Zero Reserve,’ and ‘Zero Free-Rider’—to ensure a fair and transparent blockchain ecosystem. Henry Chang, the founder of CROSS Protocol and CEO of NEXUS Co. Ltd., previously served as CEO of WEMADE and Wemix Network, bringing extensive experience in blockchain gaming to the table.
