Level Infinite on Wednesday outlined its plans for the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Esports season, announcing a series of expanded competitions and initiatives aimed at elevating amateur players into the professional ranks.
Speaking onstage at the 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship, James Yang, senior director of global esports at Level Infinite, unveiled a more robust tournament structure supported by an estimated $10 million in prize pools and incentives. The approach emphasizes grassroots growth, offering new entry points for players at every skill level and placing a stronger emphasis on female-focused events, third-party partnerships, and broad-based talent development.
The 2025 circuit will build on the success of this year’s Ultimate Royale ranked mode, which drew more amateur competitors into high-level play. Next year’s schedule features more than 20 regional tournaments across Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Americas. Top performers will earn places in established professional events such as the PUBG MOBILE Super League and the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO), setting the stage for continued advancement toward the sport’s most prestigious showcases.
The PMGO returns in spring 2025, with Uzbekistan hosting a global field of competitors, including those who skip early qualifiers by achieving top-500 Ultimate Royale rankings. The 2025 PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC), part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, will follow in the summer. The season culminates with the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship in Thailand, uniting elite teams from around the world for several weeks of high-stakes competition.
In addition, the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Esports Partnership Program aims to foster sustainable growth through enhanced creator support. The Esports Creation Program will receive further investment, kicking off with the PDP Design Contest, which features a $60,000 prize pool and runs through Feb. 12. These moves signal a renewed commitment to nurturing talent at every level, as PUBG MOBILE Esports positions itself for long-term global expansion and a more inclusive, competitive landscape.
