Sung Jinwoo's QTE skills have received new runes, along with updated activation conditions, significantly improving their usability. Additionally, the new Light Attribute weapon, Divine Quarterstaff, has been introduced, featuring a charge-based mechanic designed to deliver powerful burst damage.
New Collapse & Death Rune! Easier Activation Makes QTE Skills Viable in Boss Battles
- The activation conditions for QTE skills, which previously required status effects to trigger, have been eased. Now, simply landing a skill with a status effect enables their use.
- QTE skills offer a wide variety of effects depending on the type, including Break, burst damage, debuffs, and Freeze, providing versatile options for different scenarios.
- While players can customize rune presets for QTE skills, if simplicity is preferred, a general-purpose setup is recommended: Collapse-Thunderstorm and Death-Overshadow.
Unleash Sonic Stream-Level Damage with Full Charge! Divine Quarterstaff Shines at Higher Advancement
- Divine Quarterstaff is a new Light Attribute weapon featuring charge-based weapon skills.
- Charging starts with 3 stages, increasing to 5 stages upon 3rd Advancement. Damage increases by 100% per charge stage, making fully charged hits essential for maximizing output.
- At 3rd Advancement, the weapon gains a shield effect during charging, and if interrupted by an attack, it immediately triggers with a full charge effect.
- The resulting damage rivals that of Sonic Stream, reaching staggering amounts in the billions.
- However, at lower advancement levels, the charging mechanic can feel cumbersome. Given that the Truth: Demon Knight's Spear was buffed in this update, it is not recommended to rush into deploying Divine Quarterstaff as a main weapon.
