On Nov 7, KT Rolster announced the acquisition of Jeong “Rapidstar” Min-seong as the coach of their League of Legends roster.
Via their social media channels, KT announced that Rapidstar will be joining KT for their 2023 season. He’s a staple name in the LoL Esports scene, as he began his player career all the way back in the very early days of competitive LoL, under Azubu Frost/CJ Entus as their mid laner. After his player days, he joined various teams around the world as a coach, in teams such as EDG, T1, and C9, where he gained various amounts of experience in North America, China, and Korea.
KT also announced that there are more changes to their coaching staff. They announced the departure of coach Choi “Acorn” Cheon-ju who’s been a staple part of Kang “Hirai” Dong-hoon’s coaching staff. On the other hand, KT announced that their other coach, Choi “Supreme” Seung-min, has re-signed with the organization for the 2023 season.
