On Feb. 14, DRX announced that they have signed Kim “SSONG” Sang-soo as their head coach. SSONG had served as the interim head coach for DRX last year. As of this announcement, he has returned to DRX. While he coached DRX, he led the team to the playoffs.

Recently, DRX parted ways with Kim “KIM” Jeong-soo. While there is controversy between the team and KIM surrounding the contract termination, Shin “Shine” Dong-wook was the interim head coach.

DRX started the 2022 LCK Spring Split with a 3-game losing streak, but they rebounded with a 5-game winning streak afterward. With a 5-3 record, DRX is currently ranked 4th.

Meanwhile, DRX is still in legal dispute with DRX regarding the contract termination.
