Only four teams remain in the 2020 League of Legends World Championship. Eight teams entered the quarterfinals, but DRX, JD Gaming, Fnatic, and Gen.G found themselves eliminated by the hands of DAMWON Gaming, Suning, TOP Esports and G2 Esports, respectively. G2 and DAMWON will face off on one side of the semifinals bracket, and the other side of the bracket will feature a match between both Chinese squads still alive at Worlds 2020.

Of the four teams in the semifinals, Suning is the most represented in Challenger on China's super server. Substitute support owo has been murdering the ladder for the entirety of Worlds 2020, and every Suning start aside from top laner Chin "Bin" Ze-Bin are in Challenger. The least represented team is G2 Esports with only two of its five starters in Challenger.
