With the 2020 LCK Summer split just one week away, Riot Korea held a profile photoshoot for all the LCK players on the 8th and the 9th (KST).

After T1’s photoshoot ended, Inven was able to meet with Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok on set. As he seemed quite content with his photoshoot, we were able to ask him 40 questions in a casual interview.

Although the interview itself was much more casual than usual, it’s been a while since we were able to meet a smiling Faker. Let’s check out what his 40 answers were.

What have you been up to recently?

After MSC, I’ve been getting ready for the Summer split.

First thing you do when you wake up?

I check what time it is, then fall back asleep.

How would you rank yourself in being the funniest member on T1?

I’d say I’m rank 1.

Who’s rank 2?

They’re all about the same.

Best TFT player on T1?

If I put my mind to it, I think I’d be the best player.

Mindset behind playing Jump King?

As long as you’re willing to climb, that’s all you need.

If you were to recommend a book you’ve read recently, what would it be?

I actually didn’t read too many books recently. I’d recommend a book called “Broad and shallow knowledge for intellectual communication”

If you were to bring back a deleted item from the game, what would it be?

None.

Is there an in-game item that you’d like to have in real life?

Zhonya’s Hourglass. After using it, if I take off all that gold off my body and sell it, I think I’d make a lot of money.

If you were a K-pop idol, what would you be in charge of?

Dance? I think that if I learned how to dance, I’d dance really well.

Deft recently said that he doesn’t even talk to people that take Flash on F. Thoughts?

I don’t want to talk to people that take Flash on D, so it’s win-win for both of us.

After you became the oldest on the team, has there been an instance where you felt that generation gap?

My teammates don’t even know Buzz (A Korean band that was widely popular in the 2000s), and I… The times… Have really changed.

Is there a foreign language you’d like to be good at?

English. It’s widely used, and it’s an official language in many places, so I think it’d be the most useful.

If you were to dye your hair, what color would you dye it?

I have a lot of gray hair, so I want to dye it black.

Is there a player that you’d like to joke around with in solo queue?

It’s really fun to bug my T1 teammates when I meet them in solo queue. In terms of other teams… I’d say former T1 teammates.

If you were an interviewer hiring someone at a company, what question would you ask?

Their level of education. If it’s high, I think they’d be great at work.

Who’s the player that’s the most mature and the most immature?

Effort’s the most mature. Cuzz is the most immature.

I was pretty bummed out that I couldn’t meet the fans this Spring, so I hope to see them in the Summer. We’ll practice a lot for this Summer split as well, so we’ll make sure to perform well.
