On April 4th (KST), DragonX faced off against Gen.G in Round 2 of the 2020 LCK Spring. As many teams high on the standings are on their way to lock their spots in the LCK Spring playoffs, DRX was able to close out the series 2-0 against Gen.G and punch their own ticket into the playoffs. 

The POGs of the series, Chovy and Doran joined the official LCK broadcast for a post-match interview.

Chovy, how does it feel to receive POG for Game 1?

Chovy: Gen.G’s a really good team, so it definitely feels good to beat them.

You put on an incredible performance on Zoe.

Chovy: I raked in all the kills, so while it felt good to be so fed, the bounty on my head felt like a huge burden.

You were named POG four times on Zoe. How confident are you with the champion?

Chovy: Things just happen to work out on Zoe. I got 10 stacks on my Dark Seal, and I just had the right amount of gold to buy Mejai’s. The extra movement speed that came with the item felt really good as well.

Doran, your ults in Game 2 were fantastic.

Doran: The enemy Ezreal’s Flash was down, so i went in because of it, and things just happened to work out.

Bdd had great uses of his Teleport, so were you worried at all?

Chovy: Our team composition unlocked more options towards mid-late game, so we were busy taking all the gains we can in other lanes.

Deft had a quadra kill towards the end of Game 2. Couldn’t the team have fed him the penta?

Chovy: It wasn’t my penta, so I just quickly destroyed the Nexus.

The team looked shaky in the start of Round 2, but recently, your performances have been stellar. Is there a specific reason that contributed to Doran’s rise in his recent performances?

Doran: Nothing in particular has changed for me. I think I just got lucky.

Chovy: I’m worried that something’s going to go massively wrong for him.

Lastly, is there anything you’d like to say to your fans?

Chovy: I’ll make sure to prepare well for the remaining matches.

Doran: The teams that we’ll be facing all have tough Top laners. I’ll work hard to play well against them.
