Riot Games announced that they will be holding the second beta test of Legends of Runeterra from the 15th to 19th of November (KST).
Legends of Runeterra was first revealed last October during the LoL 10-year anniversary event. During the initial beta test launch, reactions were hot with the champions and region-based content, dynamic fights, and the system where players can gain cards for free through many different sources.
The second beta test will be held from the 15th to 19th and will be accessible to selected players who registered in advance. Especially, in this beta test, the ‘Adventure Mode’ will be available. The ‘Adventure Mode’ is a draft mode where players have to form their own deck from randomly generated cards, playing until losing two consecutive games for a reward proportional to the number of wins.
There is another special event for the Korean players who are highly interested in LoR. In the international game exhibition, G-Star 2019, held in Busan Bexco from the 14th to 17th of November, players can start the second beta test a day earlier than the world. Through the AfreecaTV booth at G-Star, participants can enjoy the test with all of the cards.
Riot Games will start the closed beta service from the early first quarter of 2020 and will aim to launch the game on PC and mobile during the late first quarter. The pre-register for the PC version beta test and Google Playstore pre-register is also in progress. Whoever pre-registered will be awarded a limited edition ‘Moonstruck Poro’ pet.
During the G-Star, several influencers will be streaming LoR as well. On the 15th and 17th, streams will be live at the AfreecaTV booth, and on the 16th, at the Inven booth.
