Yogscast Games announced that playtests for its upcoming titles, "Monster Mop Up" and "Kaya's Prophecy," will be available on Steam starting November 18. Players interested in an early look can request access through the games' respective Steam store pages.

Developed by London-based studio Terahard, "Monster Mop Up" is a creature-collecting cleaning simulator. Players assume the role of a custodian for the Ministry of Monster Concealment, tasked with capturing mischievous creatures known as Ragamuffins. The objective is to prevent these creatures from entering the human world by cleaning up any traces of their existence—including waste. The game introduces a multiplayer mode, allowing friends to join in the cleanup efforts.

"Kaya's Prophecy," created by French indie developers Jérémie and Thibaut, is a tribal deck-building and village management game. Players engage in hunting, gathering, and constructing their own village while appeasing a demanding village master. The game features a day-and-night cycle and challenges players to protect their townsfolk from various threats using a strategically crafted deck of cards. Failure to do so can result in villagers facing dire consequences like poisoning or electrocution.

Both titles aim to offer unique gameplay experiences that blend different genres. "Monster Mop Up" combines elements of simulation and creature collection, while "Kaya's Prophecy" merges deck-building mechanics with resource management and survival.

Yogscast Games, established in 2017, focuses on collaborating with small development teams to publish games that are engaging to play and watch. The publisher's recent releases include the deck-building game "Aces & Adventures," the moral dilemma-driven "Trolley Problem, Inc.," and the restaurant management roguelike "PlateUp!," which has sold over 1.5 million units on Steam.
