The Bazaar has been in development since 2018, and it finally has an official game release date. With former Hearthstone star Andrey "Reynad" Yanyuk at the helm, The Bazaar's developer team has been aiming to create the best deck-building experience in the market.

However, aiming for perfection can drag out specific processes, and The Bazaar's development took a hit for the worse during the COVID era in 2020. With the dates getting pushed back, the community slowly started losing interest until Tempo Storm shared a roadmap and a closed beta launch.

The Bazaar's closed beta became available on October 30 and was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews, making players wonder when the game would be fully released.

When Will The Bazaar release?

The Bazaar's approximate release date is expected to be in December 2024, per the game's roadmap. The devs aim to release The Bazaar's open beta in December, which will be followed by a worldwide release in January-February 2025.

While The Bazaar's closed beta is only accessible for players who purchased a Founder's Pack of any tier, the open beta and full releases will be free-to-play, meaning everyone will be able to pick up the game.

If you cannot wait for The Bazaar's Open Beta or full release, the Founder's Packs start from $33, offering various rewards in addition to closed beta access.

Will The Bazaar be free to play?

Yes, The Bazaar will be free to play following its open beta. At the time of writing, gaining closed beta access requires players to purchase Founder's Packs, which also contain cosmetic rewards.

After the open beta concludes, it'll be time for a full launch, where The Bazaar is expected to remain F2P.

Considering there have been significant delays in The Bazaar's development, the open beta and full-release days could still change. However, both Reynad and Tempo have been quite confident with dates recently, so the future is looking bright for The Bazaar fans.

Even if you aren't in the closed beta, you can still tag along with various content creators on YouTube and Twitch to start learning the game. The best card game players are already meta-crafting and releasing the best strategies for The Bazaar. You can hit the ground running by getting familiar with the title now. While the game currently focuses on a more PvE-focused approach, Reynad's competitive experience in card games may inspire other PvP modes to give The Bazaar a more competitive edge.
