Overwatch 2 announced new trailers and update information at the Xbox showcase. In the new trailer, Winston and Sojourn plan to stop Null Sector who has taken over Toronto, and gather the heroes again. The video continues to show the heroes that take part in the combat with Null Sector, introduces the new content coming up in August, and finally shows the PvE content: story missions.

Blizzard also introduced new game modes: Flashpoint, Co-op Event, and Firing Range. The content direction had been listed last May through the update roadmap, but this is the first time they showed how the content would actually be.

At the end of the trailer, a silhouette of the new hero coming into the game was revealed. The silhouette showed a hero with a large launcher or rail gun, wearing a cape.

The new content will be updated Aug. 10.
