Inven Global continued its digital pivot of the 2020 Inven Global Esports Conference last Friday with the 'Women In Esports' Panel. The Panel was sponsored by HyperX, hosted by Inven Global's Lara Lunardi, and featured three panelists from various corners of the esports space.
The three panelists who joined Lunardi are all women who work professionally in esports and possess a wealth of diverse experience in the industry in a multitude of facets.
Sarah Schneider is the partnerships manager for Houston Outlaws, who currently is competing in the 2020 Overwatch League. Before joining the Beasley Broadcast Group's OWL franchise, Schneidey worked for esports organization Gen.G and Texas-based production company Rooster Teeth.
Gabriella "LeTigress" Devia-Allen brought her insights from a diverse set of responsibilities as part of the broadcast team for the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series. The freelance commentator & host has provided interviews with players and coaches throughout the LCS Spring Split and Spring Playoffs. Before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Los Angeles, CA that forced the LCS to convert to a fully online format, LeTigress also hosted Monday Night League for the LCS.
100 Thieves Esports Operations Manager Celina Wang rounded out the panel. Wang has been a part of 100 Thieves for just over a year and was without a doubt a large part in the LCS team's 2020 turnaround. After missing the post-season for the entirety of 2019, 100 Thieves qualified for the 2020 LCS Spring Playoffs as the 3rd seed.
