On Oct 29th (PDT), the group stages for the 2017 Heroes of the Storm Global Championship ended after the last matchup in Group D and the brackets for the Quarterfinals were locked.

2 Korean teams, 3 European teams, and 3 North American teams have advanced to the quarterfinals from the group stages and will be playing against each other at the 207 BlizzCon. The matchups for the quarterfinals have also been determined, and all matchups except for the second matchup (EU vs EU) will be matches between two different countries.

The finals of the 2017 HGC will be held at Anaheim Convention Center, the venue for the 201 BlizzCon. The quarterfinals (Bo3) will be held on Nov 3rd, and the semifinals and the grand final (Bo5) will be held on Nov 4th.
