BlizzCon 2017 swag bags and Virtual ticket contents revealed!

Today, the BlizzCon Pre-show live stream featured a look inside the Blizzard vault, an interview with Blizzard CEO, Mike Morhaime, and a reveal of what goodies await all ticket holders.

In the interview, Morhaime explained how Blizzard has listened to the communities needs and that, this year, virtual ticket holders will have unprecedented access to BlizzCon content. He also spoke on the history of forming Blizzard and how it all started with a leap of faith made possible by a loan from his grandmother.

Blizzard is going all out on the virtual ticket this year and, as Morhaime put it, "The virtual ticket is the next best thing" to being there in person.

In addition to extra content, virtual ticket holders will also be able to order the exclusive swag that each BlizzCon 2017 ticket holder is entitled to. This year, the main piece of swag is a Blizzard Backpack with a Velcro surface. The surface is meant for a series of Velcro icons to show off your favorite Blizzard games, and the bag immediately comes with 6 icons, representing each major title.

In addition to all of the in game items coming soon and the figures inside the backpack, fans will be able to purchase the Epic upgrade to their loot bags, offering additional items and exclusive gold Murky pin. Right now, the only digital good that was shown was the World of Warcraft mounts, but all other Blizzard games will be unveiling their digital goods throughout the week.
