Yogscast Games, a prominent developer within the gaming content network, revealed plans to release two new strategy games on Steam scheduled for February 6, 2025. The titles, Border Pioneer and Stray Path, were unveiled during a livestream event last Friday, showcasing Yogscast’s ongoing collaboration with indie developers Yahzj Games and chx games.

Border Pioneer, developed by Yahzj Games, merges city-building mechanics with tower defense elements. Players are tasked with constructing and expanding pixel-art cities while safeguarding them against diverse external threats. The game features a variety of environments and adversaries, encouraging strategic planning and resource management as players navigate uncharted territories and bolster their settlements.

In contrast, Stray Path, created by chx games, offers a roguelike deck-building experience with a unique feline twist. Players embark on journeys through procedurally generated landscapes, making critical decisions that shape their path. Each playthrough presents new challenges and opportunities, emphasizing strategic card play and adaptability as players encounter treasures, adversaries, and unexpected obstacles.

Both games will be available individually on Steam, with an option to purchase them as a bundle at launch, providing a 10% discount. This bundled offer aims to attract a broad range of strategy enthusiasts, whether they prefer managing expansive cities or engaging in tactical card-based adventures.
