Playing PUBG Mobile on PC is on the wishlist of many players and for good reasons. While mobile devices continue to get more powerful every year, they may still lack the comfort for a prolonged PUBG Mobile session.

When I play PUBG Mobile on a PC, I don't have to worry about my battery running out or my device getting too hot. Modern laptops and PCs are more than powerful enough to run PUBG Mobile, meaning you can enjoy the game at butter-smooth frame rates as long as possible.

How to install and play PUBG Mobile on PC

To install and play PUBG Mobile on PC, you should first download an Android emulator. Such programs allow you to run an Android operating system virtually, where you can install PUBG Mobile.

  1. Choose a popular emulator, like GameLoop, or BlueStacks, and install it on your PC.
  2. Once your emulator is installed, head to its respective game library and find PUBG Mobile.
  3. Click on Install next to PUBG Moblie.

When PUBG Mobile installs on the emulator, it shows up on the home screen, just like it'd do on a phone/tablet. Clicking on the PUBG Mobile logo will launch the game, and you'll get to choose one of the login methods, like Facebook. All controls will be automatically mapped.

After completing the emulator and the game installations, respectively, you can start playing PUBG Mobile on your PC with your keyboard and mouse. While the default settings often work great, you can make finer sensitivity and layout adjustments via in-game and emulator settings.

Can I play PUBG Mobile on PC with my friends on mobile?

Yes, you can play PUBG Mobile on PC with your friends on mobile. Players from two platforms can join the same party and queue for a match together, but there's a catch. If there's at least one PC player with an emulator in a party, you'll always get matched with other emulator players. This means that your lobby will be filled with other players on PC.

If you're on a mobile device and want to play versus other mobile users, you'll have to avoid joining lobbies with emulator players in them. This separate matchmaking pool exists to ensure the balance in the game. Tencent allows emulator usage so players can enjoy PUBG Mobile on PC, but it also strives to ensure fair play.

Regardless of your platform, though, you can strike fear in your enemy's hearts with a cool name change and the top guns in PUBG Mobile. I, for one, pay close attention to the score feed in my games and hope to avoid some of the more active players toward the later stages of the match.
