The release date of the next Hearthstone expansion, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, was announced through Blizzard's official Hearthstone Twitch channel PlayHearthstone.

On November 29th (KST), caster Dan "Frodan" Chou and senior game designer Matt Place starred in PlayHearthstone's livestream. At the end of the broadcast, the release date for the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan was announced: December 1st.

The two played several games with the "newly expanded" version of Hearthstone, introducing all 132 new cards and explaining their effects, gathering the attention of many viewers.
