Nongshim RedForce's playoff hopes in VCT Pacific Stage 1 come down to a final showdown with Zeta Division on April 20. The two teams are tied at 2–2, and a win for Nongshim would secure their spot in the top four, guaranteeing a place in the playoffs.

The match will be held at the Sangam SOOP Colosseum in Mapo-gu, Seoul, as part of the VCT Pacific Stage 1's Week 5. Nongshim RedForce currently sits in fifth place in the Omega group, trailing Zeta Division on set differential and losing the head-to-head tiebreaker with Talon Esports. Despite this, a victory would push Nongshim to 3–2, moving Zeta to 2–3 and locking Nongshim into a playoff spot, regardless of other results.
Nongshim enters the match with confidence after defeating Zeta 2–0 during the kickoff event in January. Led by Yang "Persia" Zi-on and Park "Ivy" Sung-hyeon, who posted a +13 kill–death margin in that sweep, they will look to repeat that performance. However, Zeta Division has shown significant improvement throughout Stage 1, with notable upsets over Talon Esports and Team Secret. The addition of Kim "TenTen" Tae-young last week has further boosted their lineup, making this rematch a daunting challenge for Nongshim.

Meanwhile, in the Alpha group, DRX and Gen.G will face off on April 20 in a crucial match for second place. Despite both teams suffering losses to Boom Esports, this rivalry continues to heat up. The winner will secure second place in the group and potentially set the stage for a future playoff clash. With the two teams already having met seven times since VCT Pacific’s 2023 debut, this match is shaping up to be a pivotal moment in the season.
