Independent developer Chimera Entertainment has released its new fantasy strategy game, Songs of Silence, available on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game combines strategic campaigns with real-time tactical battles, presented with Art Nouveau-inspired visuals. It features a story campaign exceeding 15 hours, over 100 skirmish maps, multiplayer options for up to six players, and three distinct factions. The soundtrack is composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, known for his work on Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII.

Set in a world divided by conflict and threatened by an entity known as "the Silence," players navigate a purgatorial holy war during an unstable enlightenment age.

"We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported Songs of Silence so far," said Creative Director Alex Kehr. "Your passion and feedback have been instrumental in shaping the game."

The game was successfully funded on Kickstarter earlier this year, reaching its goal in under eight hours. It entered Steam Early Access in June 2024. Chimera Entertainment has provided a roadmap of upcoming updates on the game's official website.

Songs of Silence is priced at $29.99 and is available now on multiple platforms.
