Mercedes-Benz is powering up for the League of Legends 2024 World Championships with a unique twist — this year’s iconic Summoner’s Cup will be transported by a customized electric G-Class from Berlin to Paris, and ultimately to the final in London. As the official automotive partner of all global League of Legends Esports events, Mercedes-Benz is highlighting its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The electric G-Class, serving as the 2024 Trophy Carrier, has been tailored by Mercedes-Benz’s in-house MANUFAKTUR customization program. It features exclusive detailing, such as the League of Legends Worlds logo stitched into the headrests and a specially designed trunk module to safely transport the Summoner’s Cup to its final destination in London.

The partnership between Mercedes-Benz and League of Legends Esports includes more than just transportation. The automaker has collaborated with Riot Games to create exclusive championship rings for the winning team, further cementing its role in one of the world’s most prominent esports events. This year’s campaign, aligned with the tournament’s theme “Make Them Believe,” reflects both the innovative spirit of the League of Legends community and Mercedes-Benz’s forward-thinking ethos.

The tournament, running from September 25 to November 2, will see the world’s top teams compete across three European capitals. The knockout rounds will be held in Paris, and the grand final will take place in London on November 2. Fans in Berlin can join an exclusive Worlds 2024 viewing event at the Mercedes-Benz dealership on Salzufer.

T1, led by esports legend Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, enters the tournament as defending champions, aiming for their fifth World Championship title. Faker, who holds the record for most Worlds victories, was also the first inductee into the Hall of Legends earlier this year.
