On the 10th (KST), Gen.G Esports has announced their newest addition to their League of Legends roster, Kim “Kellin” Hyeong-gyu.

Kellin is an 18 year old support player, who first started his LCK tenure under Jin Air Green Wings in November of 2018. However, after Jin Air completed their 2019 year with 1-35 record and eventually being relegated into Challengers Korea, most of Jin Air’s roster has left the team, including Kellin.

Gen.G hasn’t performed too well in 2019 as well. They placed 7th and 6th place in the LCK standings during Spring and Summer respectively, and failed to make it to the LoL World Championship. With this addition of a young prospect in the support role, Gen.G prepares for their journey into next year’s LCK.
