On the 9th (KST), DAMWON Gaming has announced that they’ve extended the contracts their mid laner and their jungler, Heo “ShowMaker” Su, and Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu respectively, until 2021.

For DAMWON, 2019 has been a great year for them. Not only did they promote themselves into the LCK in the beginning of the year, this rookie squad has competed in Rift Rivals, and even made it all the way to the 2019 LoL World Championship, only to fall to G2 Esports in the quarterfinals. They’ve made history this year, as they’re the first team to promote into the LCK and make it to Worlds in the same year.

Along with their announcement, DAMWON has commented that they are looking to show strong performances with the re-signing of their mid and jungle. DAMWON has achieved so much during their first year in the pro scene, so many are looking forward to see how much more this squad will achieve in the upcoming year.
