On the 9th (KST), Bilibili Gaming has announced via their official Weibo that they’ve officially signed the former top laner for KT Rolster, Hwang “Kingen” Seong-hoon has joined the League of Legends roster.
Kingen first joined the LCK scene on November of 2017 with APK Prince. Then, he transferred to KT Rolster in January of 2018 as the top laner. However, after KT Rolster went through their worst year in 2019, they parted ways with all of their roster, including Kingen.
BLG commented alongside their announcement that the addition of Kingen will bring strategic diversity and competitiveness. With them narrowly failing to make it to the LoL World Championship this year, many eyes are on them to see if this roster change will be the right one for the upcoming 2020 season.
