CBLoL team paiN Gaming announced on Tuesday, December 3rd, that former Gen.G player Yoon “Seonghwan” Seong-Hwan will be joining the team for the 2020 season. The team has invested in South Korean talent for this split, also signing coach Sin “Xero” Hyeok.

The South Korean player started his LoL career in the LCK's 2016 Spring Split, playing with Afreeca Freecs, being been part of rosters like Hanwha Life, ROX Tiger, Besiktas Esports and most recently in 2019, Gen.G. The player has had an average performance, not conquering any titles yet.

In a video, Seonghwan announced that he had "accepted the challenge to play on CBLoL". The player optimistically followed with "I will be paiN Gaming's new jungler starting in 2020, and we are ready to face Worlds".

Just last week, paiN Gaming announced their 2020 season coach, Sin “Xero” Hyeok. Previously coaching LCK and LPL, Xero has been part of teams like ROX Tigers and BBQ Olivers. The announcement reads: "Today our technical team gets stronger with the arrival of Sin "Xero" Hyeok. Welcome to paiN!" followed by " Xero brings his experience conquered at LCK and LPL to lead our team in the next split" #GOpaiN
