According to a report Monday afternoon by ESPN Esports' Tyler "FionnOnFire" Erzberger, legendary SK Telecom T1 coach Kim "kkOma" Jeong-gyun is moving to China to coach Vici Gaming in the LPL. The report also states that Kim "Kim" Jeong-soo, better known as Coach Kim, is set to replace kkOma and coach SKT in the 2020 LCK season.

UPDATE 11/26: SK Telecom T1 has confirmed the signing of Kim as the team's Head Coach for the LCK 2020 season.

SKT re-signed Support Lee "Effort" Sang-ho, and both Bot Laner Park "Teddy" Jin-seong and Mid Laner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok are still under contract.

Reportedly, kkOma rejected a multi-year, seven-figure deal to stay with SK Telecom T1 in favor of VG. Despite SKT failing to qualify for a Final at an inernational tournament for the first time, the organization seemed trusting in his legacy and tenure with the team.

Since former SKT Jungler Kim "Clid" Tae-min joined Gen.G, kkOma is the second former 2019 T1 member reportedly going to China. FionnOnFire reported earlier in the afternoon that Top Laner Kim "Khan" Dong-ha was set to join 2019 World Champion FunPlus Phoenix.

Should kkOma join VG as the report states, there is no better replacement than Coach Kim. Coach Kim led a young DAMWON Gaming to a top 8 finish in its first international performance in 2019, and year prior, coached Invictus Gaming to a World Championship. Kim has also previously coached Team Dignitas and Longzhu Gaming, and first rose to the upper echelon of LoL Esports coaches by bringing Samsung Galaxy one game away from defeating Faker and SKT in the Worlds 2016 Finals.
