Immortals has officially signed Jérémy "Eika" Valdenaire as its starting Mid Laner. Eika will make his LCS debut for Immortals in the 2020 LCS Spring Split, and is the second player IMT has officially signed this off-season after Jungler Jake "Xmithie" Puchero.

Eika has been a journeyman throughout his 5+ year League of Legends career. The Frenchman made his major league debut as the starting Mid Laner for Elements in the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split, though he was technically sub on Unicorns of Love one year prior. Eika also played for G2 Esports in the Gamers2 era before the team promoted to the EU LCS.

After Eika's only split with Elements, FC Schalke 04 purchased Elements' EU LCS spot ahead of the 2016 EU LCS Summer Split and demoted Eika to substitute for Hampus "Fox" Myhre. Eika has not played in the LCS or LEC since, but has enjoyed recent domination of France's LFL as the  Mid Laner of Team LDLC. Under the guidance of Head Coach Bora "YellOwstaR" Kim, Eika led LDLC to a 3-1 victory over Misfits Premier to become the 2019 EU Masters Champion.

Reports by ESPN Esports have claimed that the IMT roster is already finish being formed for 2020 with Paul "soaZ" Boyer in the Top Lane, Johnny "Altec" Ru in the Bot Lane, and Nickolas "Hakuho" Surgent in the Support position. Should this roster form around Eika and Xmithie, the staggering amount of veteranship on the team could be a boon to the roster as a whole. However, as of now, only Xmithie and Eika have been confirmed offiically by the Immortals organization.
